Two videos attempt a (de)construction of the plural stories from multiple women that count a singular narrative in Ciudad Juárez. Located in Northern Mexico, it has one of the highest rates of femicides and gender related crimes per capita. The work came about as a collaborative attempt to embody from first hand actions and figurative associations the violence that women in Juárez experience everyday. The work is a response to shift the silence for an active stance with the hopes of honouring the lives and bodies from women in Ciudad Juárez.
